Defence Forces personnel often operate under
stressful circumstances, at home and overseas.
This presents risks to not only physical health
and safety, but also psychological health and
performance. In this context, both the Medical
Corps and the Personnel Support Service (PSS)
have specific and respective roles that pertain to
the wellness of personnel who might otherwise
be negatively affected by the unique and
challenging nature of their military service.
