It demands not only talent, but also months of preparation, hard work, and the mental toughness to perform under pressure in front of elite soldiers from militaries around the world. In this edition, we highlight a range of impressive achievements: members of 1 Cn Cois represented at AFSAM 2025 in Arkansas for the International Marksmanship Competition; the Cavalry Corps took on the world's best at the Gainey Cup, members of 7 Inf Bn were tested to their limits at a physically and mentally gruelling Warrior competition in Massachusetts; and the Defence Forces Boxing Team delivered a strong performance at the CISM Boxing Tournament in France. Also in this issue, Comdt Egerton provides a brief history of the platoon attack, and the Cadet School celebrates a major milestone as the 100th Cadet Class is commissioned. With our regulars and much more, we hope you enjoy this edition! "Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing." — Pelé 04 08 06
