ello and welcome to our sixth and final edition of 2025. We have some more great features in this edition. Throughout the
year the Defence Forces have made 20% of their fleet fully electric, clocking over 1 million EV kilometres in a year. Pte Ben
Donohue applied last-minute to Traitors Ireland after his wife suggested he'd be perfect for the show - surprisingly, he was
accepted and quickly granted leave to participate. He recalls the experience as intense, challenging, and unforgettable. The 2025
Defence Forces Review, themed "Military Leadership Challenges in the Contemporary Operating Environment," explores how hybrid
warfare, AI, and the post-truth era affect command. It features eleven peer-reviewed articles on topics from Decentralised Operations
to leading Gen Z and Gen Alpha in the Post-Truth Era. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our contributors over the
past twelve months. We hope you enjoy this edition of the An Cosantóir and enjoy the Christmas period. Nollaig shona daoibh go léir.
