A Soldier's Prayer
Lord, I ask for your grace
and strength for this moment.
May I be diligent
and honourable in all things;
and show cheerfulness and courage
in the face of hardship and danger.
Be with me in my trials and struggles.
Watch over my comrades and friends.
Be with my family, friends,
and all who are special to me.
Lord, give me confidence in times of doubt,
strength when I feel weak,
hope when there are feeling of despair.
Guide me, direct me and support me
today and always. Amen.
