here are a number
of questions that
could be asked
about exercising with
live ammunition: what if
soldiers' safety was not an
issue or live-fire exercises
were run by anybody or
ammunition was used
recklessly? Such questions
are not an issue in the
Defence Forces, however,
thanks to initiatives like
the LFtt (live-fire tactical
training) course
conducted by the
Infantry Weap-
ons Wing (IWW)
in the DFtC. I
