"This is my 2nd trip overseas,
having served in Chad with the
101 Inf Bn. I found the training
intense and robust, covering
a lot of areas. I'm traveling
as part of the Quick Reaction
Platoon (QRP) and I'm confi-
dent in the training we have
received. I will miss my partner
Rob and my Daughter Dolly
who is only 22 months old."

"Having 5 trips overseas to
Lebanon, Liberia and Kosovo, I
still found the training a good
experience, especially the
ranges and Live Fire Tactical
Training (LFTT). I have my wife
Carol and 2 Daughters Ellie
(13) and Ruby (6) at home, and
will miss helping my daughters
with their Camogie training.
This is my first trip overseas
since Ruby was born, and Ellie
has just started secondary
school."

commander. I have 2 trips
overseas before to Lebanon
and Kosovo. The training has
been more intense with CBRN
and Counter IED. I've a good
section traveling with me and
they are confident with all the
instruction they have received
