Charity Event Wicklow Way
Pte Ronan Guerin, 2 BAR, with the help of two
friends Brian Gallogly and Martin McDowell
both 2 Cav Reserve, have planned to walk the
full length of the Wicklow Way from Clonegal,
Carlow to the finish in Marley Park, Dublin. The
charity they are supporting is Pieta House -
The Centre for the Prevention of Self-Harm or
Suicide.
They plan to undergo the challenge on the
28th December 2015 and the walk is 127km in
length over mountain trail and they hope to do
it in under 48 hours!
They have a fundraising target of €1,270 for
Pieta House, which is only €10 per kilometre.
But their main goal is to raise awareness for suicide, especially
over the Christmas period. So we kindly ask if you could like,
