They defeated a strong DFTC team to meet the 1 Bde team in the final. Photo: RSM Noel O'Callaghan, 1 BAR CiViL serViCe GraDuate DeVeLopment proGramme The DFTC hosted the Civil Service Graduate Development Programme on the 21st September 2017. The visitors came from DPER, Dept Finance, DFAT, Transport, Health and Revenue. They were briefed on the roles, threats and resource challenges facing the DF and DFTC, and were given a capability display by 1 MIC and Engineer School. They experienced the Mobility Corridor from inside a MOWAG, and received a guided tour of the Curragh Military Museum. Photo: Comdt Conor King, HQ DFTC euFor artiCLe meDaL paraDe On the 26th September 2017 COMEUFOR, Maj Gen Anton Waldner, presented the European Union Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) Medal Althea to 14 service personnel from 5 different nations in EUFOR HQ, Camp Butmir, Sarajevo. He thanked them for their dedicated service in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Three Irish received their EUFOR ALTHEA medals at the ceremony. Medal recipient Capt Loraine Whelan said, "I feel hugely proud to receive my medal and it is an honour to be part of such a professional and important mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina."
